Manila Megastack 20: Francisco Sanchez Rules Main Event Day 1B; Sehoon Jin Leads Megastack Turbo

The 20th edition of the PokerStars LIVE Manila Megastack ran another Main Event entry flight with Day 1B  under the spotlight on December 5, 2024 at Okada Manila. Featuring a mighty guarantee of ₱20 Million (~US$ 340,500), another 15 levels of Day 1 played out before the next batch of qualifiers emerged. Out of the 126 that started, 19 advanced to the ITM round / Day 2 on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

With the top 5 eclipsing yesterday’s Flight A chip leader, owning the top spot was Mystery Bounty’s biggest earner Francisco Sanchez with 379,000 to his name. In close quarters and ranked second in chips was Kim Jaejoong bagging 367,000 and Rene Mar David in third rank with 341,000.

For all the players that missed out, there is still Flight C taking place on Friday at 13:00 with the usual 10 levels of late registration until around 20:10.

Megastack Turbo Flight C Add Another 13 Players To Day 2

The biggest flight of the Megastack Turbo attracted 91 entries with 13 making the cut to the final day. At the top of the leaderboard was Sehoon Jin bagging 458,000 for the overall chip lead going into Day 2. Claiming second rank was Vivencio Nachor Jr. with 377,000.

Top 10 in Chips

The event has now drawn a total of 223 entries with 34 players through to the final stage. It starts on Friday the 6th of December at 12:00 noon with everyone gunning for the top prize of P432,234 + P120,000 2025 Manila Megastack Main Event Package out of a total prize pool of P2,284,000.
