Li Zhongyao tops Day 1C
Another twelve levels of 40 minute gameplay wrapped up for the third flight of the Red Dragon Championship Event, adding another 421 entries to the tally. The KRW 1,680,000,000 (~USD 1,236,390) guarantee was breached early in the day following the smashing turnout across the concluded qualifiers. China's Li Zhongyao wrapped up the flight with a chip lead of 515,000 over the remaining 144 survivors, stacking just below Day 1A's Chen Weihang. All survivors will return to Day 2, August 2nd, for another ten levels of 60 minute blinds with approximately 15% of the field banking a share of the prize pool.
