Won Poker Cup (WPC): A New Era in Live Poker Events

Founded by the Won Majestic Hotel in Sihanoukville, the Won Poker Cup emerged on the live poker scene in 2024 and has become a brand new live poker event in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Unlike the many visiting international brands, this tournament series is a home-grown product and aims to provide tournament poker in the bustling port city which is usually only known for cash game action.

Two editions of the Won Poker Cup took place so far and both of them were held in the maiden year since the berth of the new brand. The first installment included eight tournaments and was highlighted by the $1,100 Main Event with a $500,000 guarantee, with players enjoying an overlay with 404 total entries. Later in 2024, the second edition gathered 361 entries in a festival spanning a total of 14 tournaments.
