The Red Dragon Championship final flight, Day 1D drew to a close following fourteen levels of 30 minute blinds, with another 31 players out of its 140-entry field advancing onto Day 2. China's Dong Li stacked the largest by bagging time, having soared to the lead just as the day closed. Li busted Jie Wu right at the last level and extended his lead over the last five deals to end with a towering chip count of 630,000. Li sits just behind Day 1A chip leader Yong Li across the overall order, and will kick off the next round with a great chance to bag a deep finish.

All 147 Day 1 survivors are geared to return on November 29th, 12 noon for the Day 2 battle where the money is expected to trickle in.

A button vs big blind clash saw Chenxu Zhang risk her entire 106,000 with A♥ Q♠ up against Aghayev Farhad. Unfortunately for Zhang, Farhad held a premium pair Q♦ Q♣ which remained ahead all the way through board 5♦ 4♣ T♥ 9♦ 6♥ to send her packing.

Lin Zhen opened to 12,000 and called off for her 74,500 behind after Xuejian Li moved all-in. In for a flip, Zhen's pocket pair held on board 5♥ 3♦ 9♣ 5♠ 4♠ , earning her a full double up while leaving Li crippled down.

Aghayev Farhad opened to 12,000, and called off Sergei Kim's all-in behind for 89,000. At risk, Kim managed to survive through after a queen high board 9♠ Q♦ T♦ T♣ 7♣ turned the tables in his favor.

Vying for a 29,000 pot on flop 6♥ 7♣ 7♦ , Nengyue Chen on the big blind, check raised 17,000 against Nguyen Thanh Tung's cbet, and saw the latter continue to turn J♣ . Both checked it through to river 4♥ , where Chen led 52,000. Nguyen tanked and eventually decided to let it go.

With 27,500 in the middle on flop 7♥ Q♣ Q♠ , a back and forth between Zan Chen and Junlin Feng saw the latter raise all-in. Chen called off for his entire 69,000 with A♦ 7♠ and secured the win against Feng's bluff K♥ 8♣ as turn 5♠ and river 6♠ completed the board.

Yizhou Nie committed his last 44,000 with Q♦ Q♠ and faced Kyota Henzan's 6♠ 6♣ at showdown. A great spot to double up, Nie instead headed for the exit after Henzan caught his two outer on turn 9♣ T♥ 3♥ 6♥ A♣ to deliver the elimination.

Xiaolu Li opened utg+1 and was joined by both players on the blinds. Li continued for 9,000 on flop 9♣ 3♣ A♦ and saw both stick around to turn 2♦ . Bin Wang led 40,000, with Li calling behind for his lesser 38,000 stack.

Drawing dead, Li headed out just as the day is about to close.

Mingjie Zhang opened to 8,000 on the hijack and called 8,000 more following a raise from Wenqi Zheng on the button. Both checked flop J♥ 9♣ T♠ through to turn K♠ , where Zhang led for 15,000. Zheng called behind, and went on to snap call a final 60,000 bet on river 8♣ from his opponent. Zhang showed bluff A♣ 5♥ , shipping the pot to Zheng for his straight Q♠ Q♣ .

With a pot of 32,000 centered across board Q♥ Q♣ 3♣ 4♥ A♥ , Xuejian Li fired a bet of 11,000, check raised by Junlin Feng on the big blind to 30,000. Li tank called, only to muck as Feng turned over trip queens Q♦ 6♦ .

Haichao Zou opened to 9,000 on the cutoff, called behind by Jie Wu along with Boxin Jin on the big blind. Action on flop 6♦ 2♣ 7♦ was checked through to turn 2♦ , where Jin led 26,000. Both opponents failed to continue, shipping Jin the boost.

Registration for the Red Dragon Championship games is officially closed with a final 140 entries added onto the tally across today's Day 1D games, bringing up the total field to 642. A prize pool of KRW 1,380,000,000 (~USD 990,995) remains to be at stake with payouts to be posted once available.
