The TMT Championship 2024 offers a daily high-roller event for those with deeper pockets. Since the series began in October 25, there have been four (4) Single Day HighRoller events.

Taiwanese poker pro Chia Hsiang Ko has been a third-placer and a runner-up in two Single Day HighRoller tournaments, and today he is the champion, coming out on top of 44 entries who built a NT$ 1,579,200 (~US$ 49,195) prize pool.

Chia Hsiang Ko overcame Hong Kong's Lok Min Chang in heads-up battle to finally bag a TMT Championship trophy along with a champion's payout of NT$ 584,300 (~US$ 18,200).

Lok Min Chang took home a runner-up payday of NT$ 347,400 (~US$ 10,800)

Day 5 of the TMT Championship 20224 is going to prove to be a wonderful day for poker players at the Asia Poker Arena.

First off, the Mini Main (NT$ 3M GTD) Day 2 will be kicking off with the 87 returning players already guaranteed a minimum payout of NT$ 19,500 (~US$ 620). Of course, none of these 87 spent a NT$ 12,000 (~US$ 370) buy-in and play through nearly 12 hours of poker to qualify to Day 2 and settle for not even a double-up. They're all back to fight for a spot high up on the payout ladder for the top prize of NT$ 1,022,000 (~US$ 31,830) from the NT$ 5,929,500 (~US$ 185,000), which nearly-doubled the NT$ 3M guarantee.

Another highlight of the day - and of the series - is the THMC Championship, which is hosted by the awesome people of The Hendon Mob - which is the website known to be the largest live poker database. These are the guys who track all the players and results from all the major poker events happening globally and putting it out there for the world to see. The THMC Championship has included the TMT Championship as one of its stops in the 2024 season from among the many legs it has around the world. Players who take part in THMC Championship tournaments are ranked by their earnings and cashes. The top-ranked players from all over the globe will receive accolades and prizes for their success.

One of today's big highlights - and again, also of the series - is the PFGT Taipei Cup x Mystery Bounty $NT 4M GTD, offered by the Poker Face GT group. This event is one of many multi-day tournaments of the TMT Championship. Four flights will be launched for this event over the next two days with the Day 2 Final crowning a champion on Halloween October 31, 2024. Apart from a NT$ 4,000,000 (~US$ 124,700) guaranteed prize pool, PFGT is also throwing in some mystery bounty prizes. In some cases, the bounty prizes are even bigger than some of the ITM cashes of the players. More prizes being offered is always a good thing to smile upon.
